DiabloBuddy.ai is a fan-made Diablo companion platform. We are not affiliated with Blizzard Entertainment. References to "we," "us," or "our" refer to DiabloBuddy.ai.
2. Information We Collect
- Account data: Username, email address, and password (hashed) when you create an account.
- Profile data: Display name, avatar, trade history, and forum activity you choose to share.
- Usage data: Pages visited, searches, AI queries (used to improve the AI — not sold).
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, and device type for security and analytics.
- Cookies: Session cookies for login, preference cookies for settings.
3. How We Use Your Data
- To operate your account and provide platform features
- To improve DiabloBuddy AI accuracy and answer quality
- To prevent fraud, scams, and abuse
- To send optional email notifications (you can unsubscribe anytime)
- To generate anonymized analytics to improve the site
4. What We Don't Do
- We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
- We do not facilitate real-money trading (RMT).
- We do not share your email with advertisers.
- We do not store payment card information (no payments processed on-site).

Your data is stored securely using Supabase (PostgreSQL). We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit (TLS) and at rest. Backups are retained for 30 days.
6. Your Rights
- Access: Request a copy of your data at any time.
- Deletion: Request account deletion — your data will be removed within 30 days.
- Correction: Update your profile data in Settings at any time.
- Portability: Request an export of your data.

7. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services that may process your data:
- Supabase — database and authentication
- Vercel — hosting and edge network
- Battle.net OAuth — optional login (if you choose to connect)
8. Cookies
We use essential cookies for session management and login. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser, but this may affect functionality.
9. Children
DiabloBuddy.ai is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us for immediate removal.
10. Changes
We may update this policy periodically. Significant changes will be announced in the forums. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
